Alcohol ink, hand-embroidery with floss, yarn, tiny seed beads, and gold threads on canvas, finished with gold-leafed and varnished edges.

Framed here is 23 cm diameter × 1.5 cm (approx. 9.1" diameter × 0.6") however, framing is optional, see below.

An original work, Exquisite Structures Two, draws inspiration from the branching, organic structures of living coral reefs. The composition pairs fluid alcohol ink washes of vivid magenta, soft rose, and turquoise with intricate hand-embroidery that mirrors the natural growth of marine colonies across the canvas. Branching tendrils of metallic gold thread trace the ink flow, woven together with dense French knots, textural yarns, and clusters of tiny seed beads that catch the light. Requiring around 50 hours of devoted hand-stitching, the reverse remains intentionally unlined to reveal the hidden architecture of thousands of knots and thread pathways.
