Botanica Deconstructa grew out of the rich colour palette originally developed for the Royal Thai x Mojo & Muse collaboration. Departing from the large-scale patterns of that collection, this series takes an entirely different path - breaking those floral forms apart down to their raw essence, and rebuilding them into intimate, abstract compositions driven by fluid ink gradients and dense, sculptural hand-embroidery.

Florals of the Deep is a play on the idea of underwater sea gardens, inspired by astonishing deep-water reef ecosystems recently discovered hundreds of metres beneath the ocean surface - thriving in pitch-black, icy waters where scientists long thought coral life couldn’t survive without sunlight. Blurring the line between terrestrial blooms and marine life through sculptural stitchwork, intricate beadwork, and faux floral elements, these pieces capture resilient, hidden botanical gardens flourishing in the deepest frontiers of our seas.

Viola was born during the stillness of the COVID lockdowns, emerging from a need to escape into nature and find comfort in wild fields and quiet garden corners. Translating that restorative sense of joy, the series bursts with a kaleidoscope of vivid rainbow colours - electric purples, radiant golds, and saturated jewel tones. Fluid ink gradients and dense, tactile hand-embroidery bring these velvety blooms to life as miniature celebrations of hope, lightness, and resilience.

Started in 2020 amidst the height of the pandemic and the absurd political turmoil unfolding across the UK, this series served as an outlet for unprocessed emotional upheaval. Exploring the stark tension between light and dark, monochrome void and electric colour, the work became a space for raw experimentation with mark-making. Working through every emotion with every stitch, mark, and knot, fractured washes of ink collide with frantic, dense clusters of stitch and beadwork - channelling collective anxiety, disorientating highs and lows, and the restless search for grounding amidst disorder.
