Hand-embroidered with a variety of floss/yarns, beads, confetti made from salvaged threads, faux leather and foil on canvas.

Inspired by the sea beds in our seas and oceans and the billions of sparkling and colourful microscopic life that makes up what we call sand. This piece took around 150 hours to complete. The back is uncovered to reveal the hours of hand embroidery.
